The CSR will interface with customers, point-of-purchase customers, carriers and other vendors to ensure the smooth flow of merchandise into and out of the warehouse and according to customer requirements.
Activities include schedule carrier pickup and delivery, conduct QC checks of received orders, notify customers of damaged goods or shorts, generate pick tickets by entering customer information/requirements into WMS system, conduct manual entries into the system for inventory control, and notify customers of order status. Activities as well as work hours may fluctuate in response to daily demands and the needs of the department. May work on varied schedules. A CSR may be responsible for any or all of these activities depending on previous experience and/or performance in the department.
